Its a common sight among many animals and insects even, they play dead in order to escape the Danger, I have myself came across many of them, but you would rarely see a snake do it, this rattle snake in the wild was caught on tape on a hiking adventure, they first thought it could be a dead snake, but as they approached it, they came to realise its not the case, this snake was just playing dead to fool them thinking it is, and its facial expressions are really funny with its tongue out and not exposing its upper part is hilarious nevertheless, just watch the video below and I am sure you would have a good laugh at it.
